If you are in a competitive business, invest in platforms that your competitors are not using.

For example, it is hard to establish a clothing brand on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube without spending lots of time and resources.

So why not try Pintrest, Flickr, Dlive, Metacafe or DailyMotion?

While the absolute return might not be as high as the bigger platforms, the sheer lack of competition will bring better conversion rates.

You'll be the big fish in a small pond.
